1960 -

1985

When Camela started

Camela Vegetable Oil Company Ltd was incorporated in June, 1960 as a Limited Liability Company dealing with Agricultural Produce and Palm Oil Milling. In 1985, the company went into Palm Kernel Nut Crushing for the extraction of Palm Kernel Oil (PKO) and Palm Kernel Cake (PKC).

When Camela started

In 1990 the company expanded further into refining of Palm Kernel Oil into edible Vegetable oil called Camela Vegetable with production of fatty acid distillate as a by product. T

Our story today

The company in 2013 installed and has presently commissioned a 100MT /day Palm oil refining and Fractionation plant for the production of Palm Olein, Palm Stearine and Palm Fatty Acid
